BYOD

In 2016, Caroline Chisholm College will be continuing with a 1:1 BYOD program for students in Year 7. The aim of the program is to give your daughter the option to use a device she is comfortable with and use it as a tool to give her more ownership over her learning. It will equip her with the ability to produce quality learning tasks using creativity and imagination, in ways previously inconceivable.

BYOD & Existing iPads

In 2016, Caroline Chisholm College will continue to support the existing 1:1 iPad program with students in Years 9 and 10 & the BYOD program in Year 8. Students will continue to use their device across all classes to assist their learning, using it as a tool to collaborate with peers and teachers, and to design, create and deliver a range of learning projects.

BYOD

In 2016, Caroline Chisholm College will be continuing with a 1:1 iPad program for students in Year 11. The College is moving to a “Laptop First” policy supporting both Apple Macbooks and Windows compatible laptops (including convertibles) that meet the minimum specifications of the College. However it is NOT a mandate for Year 11 families to buy a laptop if your daughter has an existing iPad as the College will continue to support all existing iPads.
